LIFE - Trucker Hats and Von Dutch

I was out today with Shafinaz... KLCC lah mana lagi.. KL seems small.. since i've been back.. kalau tak Jaya Jusco belakang rumah, KLCC.. itu sajalah. Bukannya takda tempat lain.. i'd day KLCC is accessible.. VERY accessible but the crowd!! Mak Datok!!

Anyway, that's not my point of the story.. my point is about trucker hats and Von Dutch. Well, lets start with talking about Von Dutch.. To be honest, before coming home i was thinking of buying either a Von Dutch bowling bag or a Von Dutch Trucker Hat.. Thinking in Malaysia sure tak de ciplak and bila balik nanti it's sumthing lah.. (For those who hardly know me, i'm the kind who doesn't go for brand names.. it's just that i'm not pampered with all that stuff and i don't find the need too.. plus i also see if things are worth it because most of the branded stuff are expensive for the name. FULLSTOP!).. Anyway, so i did thought about buying on of the friggin expensive VonDutch stuff sold at Gadzooks in Crossroads Mall (the only mall in Kalamazoo!).. Yelah, bila balik pakai kasut Nike.. semua kat Malaysia pakai kasut Nike.. nak juga merasa jadi "that-one-person-who-has-that-thing", if u know what i mean. So have to find something American and rare. The list goes down to AE, Abercrombie and Von Dutch.. Abercrombie is soo FOS in Malaysia.. so if i spend my money on an AF top which will cos me $20 = RM74 and then people think i got it from FOS for RM29.99 .. BAIK TAK PAYAH! Despite what people think, i still won't want to spend that much for a tee i can get for RM29.99 in malaysia which is equivalent to $8.19 only.. pointless right? So better buy Von Dutch.. after all Von Dutch is worn by celebrities and it's like the new thing.. sure in Malaysia tak sampai lagi..

Well.. So i thot...

Apperently not!!

The moment i got to KLIA, i saw a bunch of kids wearing Von Dutch trucker hats.. In my heart.. "Waaah!! Gila kaya bebudak ni!!"... then as days goes by.. i saw more and more of those hats.. Von Dutch sometimes sama design, sama color.. I cam to learn, rupanya Von Dutch ni dah kena ciplak!.. hahah.. luckily tak beli kat US.. kalau tak rugi je.. Balik sini orang ingat beli ciplak when i could have (maybe ) spent sumthing like USD$80 for a hat. LUCKILY!! Luckily i didn't find the time to go to Crossroads to get it.. phewww!!

Tu kisah von dutch.. Kisah Trucker Hat pula.. I actually already have one trucker hat which i just love.. it has a lot of meaning to me.. very sentimental.. a lot of memories with it.. One thing about the trends for trucker hats is the statements on it.. Like mine is "Rebel".. The statement and the color of the hat is truly an oxymoron... Pink.. then Rebel.. Whatever, i just love it!!...

I see trucker hats is in trend here too... cuma sayang the hats they have here do not have statements like they do in the US. So, most of the trucker hats here looks more like an ordinary branded hats.. hmmm.. macam tak kick!..

Anyway.. tu je nak cakap.. just have this thought and kindda lazy to discus verbally.. so i write..
